PRIMITIVE SKILLS AND BUSHCRAFT

With over 30 years experience in the environmental sector; Peter has long been aware of the relationship between human activities however small and their environmental consequences.

His range of environmental knowledge and experience, combined with his skills as an Experimental Archaeologist (researching the Scottish west coast fishing and foraging techniques of Mesolithic Hunter-Gatherers), means that Peter is well qualified to lead and instruct our Primitive Skills and Bushcraft courses.

The Mesolithic Resource Group conducts workshops in a range of Primitive Skills and technologies, including; primitive jewellery, bone and antler work, cordage making, primitive fishing and firemaking.

Peter is Course Manager of the Environmental Archaeology and Primitive Skills Programme at Reaseheath College, Cheshire.
