The Mesolithic Resource Group was originally formed from the desire to research the use of plant materials in the Mesolithic of northern Europe.

We use Experimental Archaeology to research the use of natural materials and investigate possible Prehistoric 'tool kits'.

By using field-based experiments, we achieve a greater understanding of how Prehistoric people lived within their environments.

It is our belief that Prehistoric people had an extensive knowledge of raw material processing techniques that many of us currently lack.

Please take a look around our website to learn more about us.
